The Hand-In-Scan Semmelweis Rub&Go System received the 3rd prize at the 2021 Innovation Academy. As the original Semmelweis System received the 1st prize at the 1st ICPIC Innovation Academy in 2011 we have to make the Rub&Go System even more successful than the original one.

The Semmelweis System allows immediate evaluation of hand hygiene technique evaluation with a special fluorescently labeled alcoholic training solution. To achieve this, the scanner employs harmless blue light exposure. The system provides objective overall quality assessment scores and creates reports and statistics. The innovative technology of the Semmelweis Rub&Go is made primarily for education and plays a major role in the control of Healthcare Associated Infections (HAIs).
