Donal is a Board member of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. Donal is the former Head of the UK Ebola taskforce in Sierra Leone. Donal led the UK civilian and military response to Ebola in Sierra Leone, coordinating the response at national and district level.
